Halo: The Master Chief Collection
UX Designer: 2017-2018
THE GOAL
When 343 Industries made a commitment to continue updating Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the team resolved to listen to its fans and address concerns with the existing game that came out in 2014. Knowing that we were planning to launch Halo: MCC on PC, we took the opportunity to overhaul the UI and add new quality of life features.
MY Role
As one of the UX designers working on MCC, I created wireframes and UI specs for both new and existing features, attempting to address user feedback. These documents went to internal and third-party partners for implementation. We were able to take these wireframes and create a prototype in Axure. Using a controller, we were able to run qualitative studies with users to see if our UI changed were accessible and easy to undestand.
