Windows Phone
Front-End Developer: 2011-2012
I came onto Windows Phone as a front-end developer. I worked with developers and designers to implement functional, beautiful designs in a proprietary XML language.
During the off-season, I did visual design for internal projects (emails, posters, branding guides) and spearheaded an important project: the templatizing of Windows Phone. This was a difficult, but necessary project which helped the front-end developers, developers, and designers become more efficient for the next release.
The visuals provided here are the final product; because I worked in code and script, my NDA doesn’t allow me to post my work. For more information, please contact me and I’ll be happy to walk through my process.
Below are some examples of templates - developers used designs and templates like these in order to be able to drop in controls within templates. Designers used this format to quickly throw together designs as well as justify any custom elements.
